Labor Strikes and the Future of Chinese Social Policy

With Chinese labor strikes drawing international attention, Cheng Li, Director of Research, John L. Thornton China Center, suggests that it is too early to declare the country on the verge of a workers’ revolution as the strikes are localized and in only a few industries.
